The lag in the West Market District can get pretty awful for me. The East Market is bad too, but West is worse. Unfortunately, much of Chapter II takes place in the West District, which makes it a pain for me to currently play through it. I would like to know if anyone else experiences this much of a framerate drop. I recorded the video on patch "15.7" (the day this post was created), and I'm not running anything in the background except Steam and OBS.
Specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9600K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1660 Super

I got it up to almost a steady 90 FPS outside combat on my laptop with the latest patch, but I'll keep working on it tomorrow. The street light checks might be slowing it down.
EDIT: More like 80 with consistent stuttering, actually. Will work on it soon.

If you do these 2 commands, does it get a little faster?
deleteAll=hanging light

I hover around 60 fps, but there are constant drops which result in the lag you can see in the video. I've tried turning vysnc on and off in my control panel for both the editor and the game, and neither seems to have any positive effect. For whatever reason, the game won't go above 60, as if I have a frame limiter applied...but I don't as far as I can tell. I'll try to do some more tweaking to see if I can figure anything out when I get back tonight. |

I think I'm gonna remove a couple of useless buildings and replace them with blocked map tiles to cut down on object count. There are a couple of buildings with almost nothing inside.
The game is capped at 60fps unless you turn game speed up to "fast" in the settings (and during combat it goes back down to 60).

Did a quick patch with simplified Ch.2 market maps. You gotta start a new Ch.2 story and use the "changeMap=7" and "changeMap=8" commands for the market maps. Also load the sample party to see how it runs with party members. "loadParty=sample party".

Yeah, both market maps are much better. There are still regular hitches, but it is now completely playable in my opinion.

Looks like I gotta keep object count to under 1000 per map. Easy to do by just using more map tile variety instead of objects. Thank you for report.
